Abbey Hotel, Bath is located in the centre of the beautiful wellbeing destination of Bath, just a short walk from the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and Bath Spa.
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales activity, managing corporate, group and event accounts, and building strong relationships with clients to maximise business for the hotel. The role works closely with Revenue, Marketing and Events to convert opportunities into confirmed business.
What We Offer....
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Full Time (will consider part time)
Days: Monday- Friday (Flexible on days for fulfillmet of job role)

This role requires a 70% proactive and 30% reactive sales approach, with a strong focus on generating new business and developing client relationships
Specifically, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
General Standards
As with every role at Abbey Hotel Bath, you're expected to work safely, protect guest and company confidentiality, communicate professionally with guests, suppliers and colleagues, look after company property, and support a respectful, collaborative team environment — in line with the property's standard policies and procedures
You'll communicate clearly and professionally with guests, suppliers, third parties and colleagues, including by phone, email and other electronic channels, and keep written records, logs and reports accurate and up to date. Sensitive or difficult conversations should be handled away from public areas of the property
You'll work collaboratively with the wider team, treating colleagues and guests with respect, supporting others in understanding their tasks, and handling sensitive issues with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
Day-to-day, this includes standard computer and point-of-sale system use, completing tasks on time and to the required quality standard, and the general physical demands of a role that combines office-based work with regular travel to client meetings, site inspections and industry events
