Job Requirements/Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your Operations Management career at Salisbury. You'll join a committed and dynamic Ops team within the Surgery Division to manage a Care Group that delivers quality care and outcomes for our patients.

You'll be supported by a Band 7 Operations Manager, and work as part of the Care Group triumvirate, which includes a Matron and Clinical Lead, to provide senior leadership for specialties in the Division.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who has the ability to successfully engage with a broad range of teams, disciplines and staff across the Division.

Interview for this role will be on the 6th October 2026.

As part of specialty triumvirates, to provide leadership and senior management support to specialities across the Division.

To provide expertise in change management, service development, budget management, workforce planning and supporting the delivery of high-quality services.

To be responsible for delivering local and national performance targets and objectives.

To influence and lead on the strategic development and improvement of services in conjunction with the Divisional Management Team Medical Director, Divisional Director of Operations, Divisional Director of Nursing.

As part of specialty triumvirates, to be responsible for the management of clinical governance and workforce processes.

To engender a positive working environment, with the senior management team, yielding positive results for our patients.
