The Future Ambitions Board (FAB) is a unique partnership bringing together leading organisations from business, local government, education, health and the voluntary sector to drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth across the area.

We are seeking an exceptional Partnership and Programme Manager to help take FAB into its next phase of development. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and influential leader to work at the heart of one of the region's most important strategic partnerships, turning shared ambitions into tangible projects, investment and impact. Through strengthening strong relationships across sectors and a “one voice” approach you will ensure that the partnership delivers meaningful outcomes for local communities and businesses.

About the role

In addition to developing strong relationships across sectors, you will identify and secure external funding opportunities, develop business cases and investment propositions, and help transform strategic priorities into successful programmes and projects.

Working closely with the FAB Chair, Board members and partner organisations, you will lead the development and delivery of partnership programmes that support:

• Economic growth
• Innovation and investment
• Skills development
• Placemaking
• Inclusive and sustainable prosperity across the area

What you'll be doing

• Leading and supporting delivery of the FAB vision and programme of activity
• Building trusted relationships with senior leaders across partner organisations
• Identifying and securing funding, sponsorship and investment opportunities
• Developing compelling business cases and funding bids
• Turning ideas and ambitions into deliverable programmes and projects
• Coordinating partnership activity and stakeholder engagement
• Supporting governance, performance monitoring and evaluation
• Acting as an ambassador and spokesperson for FAB alongside partner leaders
• Developing sustainable partnership and income opportunities

About you

You'll be a collaborative and entrepreneurial leader who can bring people together around a shared purpose.

You'll have:

• Significant experience of leading partnerships, programmes or place-based initiatives
• A successful track record in securing funding, sponsorship or investment
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience working across public, private and voluntary sectors
• Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing abilities
• Strong programme and project management skills
• The ability to translate strategy into practical delivery and results
• The credibility to work confidently with senior leaders and board members

Knowledge of the local economic and partnership landscape and existing relationships with local stakeholders would be advantageous.
