Aftersales Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run motor retail group for the position of Aftersales Manager at their dealership in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade Aftersales Manager seeking a senior management role within a well-established organisation.

Duties:

• Lead and manage the aftersales department to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction as the Aftersales Manager
• Oversee workshop operations, ensuring maximum utilisation of facilities and efficient labour sales
• Support the development and motivation of the aftersales team
• Implement policies to improve customer retention and dealership reputation
• Maintain effective communication between departments and with customers
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and health and safety regulations
• Support the General Manager with departmental targets and reporting

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within a medium to large franchise-approved dealership
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• IT literacy and proficiency with dealership management systems
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, with occasional Saturday mornings as required
• Resides within reasonable commuting distance of Bath
• Experience with premium vehicle marques is desirable but not essential
