Our client is looking for an experienced assessor to support the wider learning and learner journey. This role entails delivering Apprenticeship days, completing reviews, safeguarding and preventing, off-the-job sessions, and contextualising topics from the AAT Apprenticeship standard and preparation for end point assessment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a learner—focused assessor to join a supportive team, with the potential for a permanent position following the successful completion of the fixed—term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and offer support to AAT apprentices.
- Complete learner sign—up, enrolment, gateway, and completion paperwork accurately and within required timescales.
- Conduct progress reviews with learners and employers.
- Assess portfolio and workplace evidence, providing clear, constructive feedback.
- Monitor learner progress, off—the—job training, and achievement† targets.
- Maintain accurate learner records using e—portfolio and management information systems.
- Prepare learners for gateway and end—point assessment.
- Deliver engaging remote and face—to—face apprenticeship learning days, with a focus on contextualised wider learning.
- Ensure all activity meets apprenticeship funding, quality assurance, safeguarding, and data protection requirements.
About you
- Essential: Hold an assessor qualification, such as CAVA, TAQA, A1 or D32/D33, or be willing to work towards one.
- Have experience supporting or assessing learners
- Have strong organisational, communication and digital administration skills.
- Be able to manage a caseload independently and build effective relationships with learners and employers.
- You must have access to and use of your own vehicle for work—related travel.
- Desirable: Hold AAT Level 4 or an equivalent/higher accounting qualification.
- Desirable: Have relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or payroll.
