Rate: £15–£25 per hour, depending on experience and tickets

About the Opportunity

Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, VW Paving is looking for experienced self-employed Groundworkers, External Finishers and Labourers to work with us across Wiltshire, Somerset and surrounding areas.

We have a significant amount of work coming up and are looking for reliable, experienced people to join our existing teams.

We are happy to hear from individual tradespeople as well as established gangs.

Groundworkers

Experience in areas such as:

• Drainage
• Kerbing
• Slabbing and paving
• Concreting
• Excavation
• General groundwork
• Preparing areas for finishing works
• Highways

External Finishers

Experience in:

• Slabbing and paving
• Kerbing and edging
• External finishing
• Remedials
• Completing works to a high standard

Labourers

Duties may include:

• Assisting groundworkers and finishers
• Site preparation
• Moving and handling materials
• General site duties
• Keeping work areas clean and organised

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in groundworks, construction or external finishing
• Reliable and punctual
• Good standard of workmanship
• Hardworking with a good attitude
• Ability to work well within a team
• Relevant CSCS/CPCS/NPORS cards or plant tickets where applicable
• Driving licence preferred
• Must be able to work on a self-employed/CIS basis
