My client is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to provide line management for the transport operations.
Key Accountabilities include:
Service Delivery- Responsible for providing an effective and efficient service for handling of client assets, ensure full compliance of H&S and Quality procedures. Oversee fleet maintenance and occasional operational duties. Oversee and ensure that all records and forms with regards to transport legislation are updated regularly. Identify and resolve vehicle accident trends, and review routes to obtain maximum efficiency and profitability. Understand KPI's and drive improvements for all operations.
Sarbanes Oxley Compliance- Ensure full compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and other key operating standards.
HR/People Management- Conducts appraisals, coach and guide direct reports to ensure high quality service for customers. Manager and report on the discipline of staff and ensure compliance with company procedures and employment legislation. Manage staffing levels and provide leadership. Establish SMART objectives for self and team and identify own training and development needs.
Financial- Understanding of site financials, asset management and reviewing of annual budgets. Producing statistical reports, evaluate headcount against targets, maximise against budgets and recommend solutions and training. Candidates must have previous experience within a logistics supervisor role, and have previous people management experience.
Due to the nature of the business candidates must also hold a clean CRB, have no CCJ's or credit issues and must have a full clean driving licence.
You will be working a 45 hour week Monday to Friday between the hours of 05.00 and 19.00.
