Purpose of role:

Responsible for producing high quality financial information to support the business decision making processes and maintaining the integrity Group’s core financial systems.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts to required reporting deadlines;
Preparation of financial information for business reviews;
Maintenance of core financial ledgers and systems (purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash management etc);
Preparation of monthly balance sheet controls;
Preparation of VAT returns;
Involvement in the Budgeting and Forecasting processes;
Supervision of one further member of staff who will cover transaction processing (to be appointed in the near future)
Liaise as part of the Finance Team with auditors, external advisers and providers of outsourced services.

Experience/Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and social skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels;
Hands on experience of management accounts production;
Experienced financial and management accountant, good double entry, VAT, corporation tax etc.
Ability to work within reporting deadlines;
Good Microsoft Excel skills;
Proactive planner and ability to project manage own work.
Part qualified – CIMA, ACA or ACCA;

Benefits:
