We are delighted to be assisting our client with their need for a Customer Service Advisor to work for their busy customer service team on a 3 month contract, the role will involve:
To provide first class customer service to members acting as a first point of contact for all enquiries whether delivered by post, email or telephone.
Undertake accurate administration activities for new & existing customers.
Assess and pay claims for all products
Take personal responsibility for resolving queries, liaising with other internal departments as required
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all policy administration, payment of claims, collection of premiums as required.
Handle & respond to telephone calls, emails and letters in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure that claims and premium payments are processed in line with the systems and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Set up, amend and process new and existing direct debit queries
Administer the daily bank statements, ensuring that all premium payments are posted to the members’ accounts.
Investigate and respond to customer queries and complaints.
Record and issue product information packs to potential members within agreed service standards.
Administer the lapses, reinstatements, arrears, fully paid and paid up policies
Input data accurately and quickly, ensuring customer records are kept up to date.
To comply with FSA rules, the Data Protection Act, Health & Safety legislation, the Society’s IT policy, and Money Laundering procedures. This is a 3 month contract to start as soon as possible, and the successful candidate with have call handling experience, ideally gained wihtin the insurance market, but not essential
