The Role
We are looking to a hire a Systems engineer based in Bristol to work on a range of studies relating to the early concept definition of new systems incorporating a range of novel technologies
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the definition and planning of new studies in response to customer requirements providing technical support to business winning activities. Carry out a wide range of technical analyses and investigations, including the evaluation, trade-off and selection of technical options Support the development of requirements and detailed plans for field trials of novel system prototypes. Provide system level guidance and data analysis support to field trials Prepare reports and route map plans with suggested recommendations to support the definition of future technology development activities and their requirements Keep up to date in relevant technical areas, develop skills and capabilities to be able to provide more effective system support and expertise
Experience & Qualifications
Ph.D in a related physics, numerical modelling or materials science discipline. Extensive research experience / capabilities. Experience ideally associated with new (novel) technologies, processes, innovations etc A strong understanding of RF / Microwave & power technologies.
