With dedicated corporate finance advisers our client works with their clients to facilitate their transaction and achieve business goals. Their team helps boost client business's appeal to investors, maximise funding options, identify and negotiate with target businesses.
The Executive role, will be supporting the CF partner with the corporate finance offering throughout the region. The individual will be part of a growing team, with the potential to take on further responsibilities and prospects of promotion in the short to medium term. The individual must be able to demonstrate a commercial and client focused approach.
Principal duties
• Support Transaction Services projects;
• Undertake ‘hands on’ field work (including interpretation and analysis of information and report writing) in a variety of industries as part of the team;
• Produce discrete sections of reports containing minimal errors, in a clear, concise manner.
• Support advisory projects on both buy-side and sell-side;
• Prepare reports, information memoranda and documents using Word and PowerPoint;
• Prepare financial models using Excel and Sage Financial Forecasting;
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic business skills;
• Respond promptly to queries and requests and keep team members informed of project developments;
• Establish good working relationships with clients and targets;
• Provide clients with value-adding recommendations for improvements in processes and controls;
• Support sales and marketing activities;
• Assist with administration and ad hoc projects within the department;
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
• Educated to degree level;
• Qualified/Part qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or the CF qualification
Experience / Skills
• Demonstrable professional services and/or commercial experience.
• Experience of working within corporate finance or related discipline is preferred but not essential.
