Job Title: (Senior) C# .NET Software Developer.
Location: Commutable from locations across South Wales: Cardiff, Caerphilly, Newport, Cwmbran, Bridgend or Swansea.
Salary: c.£26-33,000 per annum, negotiable dependent upon experience.
Start Date: November/December 2011.
We are currently working alongside an exceptional customer based here in South Wales, in their current search for an experienced C# .NET Software Developer with exceptional commercial experience to join their organisation during a period of continued growth and success. Within this excellent new role being offered within the team, you would take responsibility both as a technical authority within a small development team as well as developing Web Applications in ASP.NET using C#.
Amongst the daily tasks and duties required of the successful candidate will be coding applications, project planning, testing(your own and others' code) and supporting existing applications. The successful applicant will be working on the full development lifecycle and therefore experience of working on a project from design to roll-out is essential.
The primary skills, experience and knowledge required to be successful in the role will be:
*strong development experience with technologies such as C# and ASP.NET, as well as experience of HTML/XHTML in particular. Practical examples of your previous work with these languages would be useful if available.
*experience with some of the following technologies would also be highly advantageous for this position: SQL Server, T-SQL, Web Services, XML, .NET 3.5, SVN or CSS.
*experience of working with web authoring applications, such as Visual Studio.
*due to recent modernisation activities and ongoing projects within their development environment, any experience with the following would be highly beneficial: MVC, NHibernate, DDD, S#arp, NAnt, Cruise Control.
*ability to work well in small teams as well as on your own initiative.
*ability to manage own projects and portfolio.
*good administration and organisational skills.
*excellent communication skills and the ability to think through a problem coupled with the confidence to make your ideas heard.
